Unlike traditional staffing models, Shift Hero offers companies the flexibility to access specialised engineering talent precisely when they need it, without the overhead costs associated with full-time employment. By leveraging Shift Hero, businesses can enhance their operational agility, mitigate downtime risks, and elevate their engineering capabilities to unprecedented heights.

A maintenance engineer is a skilled professional responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and facilities within industrial settings. These engineers possess a diverse skill set, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and sometimes even software expertise. Their primary objective is to prevent downtime, minimise disruptions, and optimise the performance of assets through regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks. Maintenance engineers play a crucial role in maximizing operational efficiency, enhancing safety standards, and prolonging the lifespan of critical assets within manufacturing and production environments.

Efficiently Complete Maintenance Work Orders: Shift engineers efficiently manage multiple work orders from different departments to optimize production efforts, promptly addressing issues with malfunctioning machinery to minimize downtime. Accurate Record-Keeping: Throughout their shifts, shift engineers meticulously document their work and maintain a detailed logbook of completed tasks and repairs.

Our elite engineers are renowned for their expertise in various fields, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. We verify all compliance engineers to ensure they hold the relevant and up to date certificates, with regular audits carried out to ensure validity.

There is no fee to use the Shift Hero platform or app. We are currently creating more brilliant features as add-ons which we know you'll love. These are optional add-ons which will not affect the current functionality of the platform. Pricing for additional add-ons may apply.

Shift Hero will invoice you directly for all engineer shifts at your site. Our system logs the time the engineer starts and finishes the shift, so you can rest easy knowing you only pay for the time spent on the job.

We will send out another Shift Hero who matches the skill set required to fulfil the shift, so you won't be left without.
